Related Research: “Unsettled” Exhibition

We congratulate our Sydney project partner and First Nations curator Laura McBride on the recent opening of “Unsettled”, one of the Australian Museum’s most significant exhibitions in its almost 200-year history. This powerful exhibition uncovers the untold histories behind Australia’s foundation story. First Nations voices reveal the hidden stories of devastation, survival and the fight for recognition. These first-hand accounts are presented through long hidden historical documents, large-scale artworks, and never-before-seen objects from the Australian Museum collections and beyond.
